Constitution -- What Constitution?

The Sixth Amendment provides that "in all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right…to be confronted with the witnesses against him."

Unless of course you live in Oxnard, CA. which conjures up its own "due process."

The city’s plan seems to be to consolidate all financial natters into a few staff members hands with little oversight (checks and balances) from the elected City Treasurer.

It doesn’t take a Rhodes Scholar to ascertain their motive and possible subsequent abuses.

This matter goes to court on Tues. May 4, 2021.

Stay tuned.

Phillip Molina is the duly elected City Treasurer.

A report the City doesn't want you to see.

Good People,

For over a year now I have been fighting the city manager in my capacity as your elected City Treasurer, for the right to perform the statutory duties you elected me to do.  By the City Manager's actions, which the last Mayor and Council approved, he has stripped me of the staff I need to get the job done and he completely eliminated the  Oxnard Treasurer's Department.

I provide the attached document, which tells how the city has denied no expense to try to stop me from getting this injustice into court, for your review.

Respectfully,

Phillip Molina
